We wake up around 9:30. Lots of sleep last night followed by many naps. I think we needed that.
Alisa and her mom run off to do laundry and the boys and Trudy get out the guns. We brought the kids .22s and here we have a safe place to have some fun. We shoot the sneaky paper target, the feisty broken microwave, and the brightly colored pigeon of clay.
The kids shot many rounds into the paper targets and wanted something more. There was a old microwave so we shot a few rounds into that. The dogs couldn't figure what they were supposed they bring back. After each shot they couldn't find what we shot. Guess they thought we couldn't hit anything.
We pulled out the shot gun and clay pigeons. On the 3rd pull I finally started hitting them. We got Trudy to shoot the 12 gauge shotgun. She knocked over the target then hit the microwave. She enjoyed that!
We also went fishing at a catch and release pond. We met Brad Stacy, Brice, Rylee, and 25,257 mosquitoes It was man made and well stocked. We caught a fish a minute. The ever brave Trudy actually started to put the worms on her hook. Gretchen was too grossed out so she made dad do it.
More fun to come
