We wake up and we are all glad to be able to able to sleep in our own beds tonight. We carefully make sure to pack all the the things we needed to make our beds and clean clothes in the trailer were we can't get to them easily.

We decided not do back to the expensive town of Durango. They do have things we would like to do but we don't want to spend that much today.

One last time to Wal-Mart to pickup lunch on the go. Chicken. salad in a can and some individual SPAM slices. We drive to Four Corners. The only spot where 4 states touch at the same place. Not much there. A plaque, some flags, and lots of shops with Navajo's selling hand made stuff.

Actually it most of it is hand assembled. There seems to be a supplier that sells the same stones to all of the tribes here. I've been to Navajo, Apache, and some other tribes I don't remember there name. All of it looks the same. Same rocks, same string or wire, same patterns.

I would think it is all made in a factory except while browsing it looks like they are assembling it right there. But they could just be making us think that and are just moving their hands where we can't see them. Maybe they have an X-Box down there.

After standing in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah at the same time, we head to the picnic tables behind the shops. I think were in Arizona.

We climb back in to the car and head to Window Rock. We got to the town but the rock with the window was not easy to find. We did find it. They have pointers but they don't really tell you what they are pointing at. Guess what we found at Window Rock Park? Yep a couple selling the same jewelery we saw at Four Corners. What was cool was this had the memorial for the Navajo Code talkers.

We left there and got back to driving home. I was hoping to get to Flagstaff for dinner. Our hunger drives us to eat in Winslow. We drive from one end of the town to the other. Not much left. After checking out all the restaurants. We head back to the one the locals were at, Falcons. Good indicator for those eating out in a strange town. Food was great, and much too much food was served. None of us could finish what on our plates. If you are in town eat there.

We roll in to Phoenix. It is good to be home.
