My great uncle Bob came from Camptown ( sing that song do da ) I hadn't seen him in years. The first thing they wanted to do is go to Dairy Queen.
This time Derek was a normal kid and got ice cream. After filling Derek with frozen treat he bought a drink, which he spilled all over the floor. A mop and a refill was in order.
After that we headed to a pottery store. "Doh! Where is my blackberry?"
Alisa and I turned back, the kids were in other cars. Alisa called my phone while I went inside. I did not hear it. So we went back to Mom's house. It was there. Alisa decided to make the bed for Uncle Bob and Aunt Janet. She also put fresh picked flowers for their room.
We caught up with them and the fear my mom had, that we just left without them to the next stop was squashed.
We decided for dinner to go to the Pizza Pub formally known as Uncle Charlies. It is under new management and they are dropping the Uncle. We ordered Pizza and I had the steak and fries salad. Mmmm. What says healthy than putting fries and greasy fried minute steaks on salad.
Derek spilled his drink, again. Alisa commented that it reminds her if when we were first dating. It was the first time I took her to Long John Silver's. She knocked her drink across the table on my lap. A week or two later she again spilled her drink on me, but this time while driving.
Derek and Kyle need some super glue so we head to the store. While there it starts to thunderstorm. Oops, Max is outside and the window to the camper is open.
We head back home to wet dog. He is happy to see us and looked like he enjoyed the storm. The camper was mostly dry but I discovered the propane had run out on the fridge. Everything was warm. Oops again.
We retire about midnight. With the thoughts of milk gone bad.
Tomorrow the gathering.
