Woke up in a real bed. Nice. Wow a shower two days in a row. Bonus! Bacon, can this day be any better?

Pull out of Aunt Dianne's place get 3 blocks away. "Jeff, where are the maps? Didn't you bring them inside to decide where we're staying?" DOH! Let's turn around.

Had to call in to work for an issue. It got solved while Alisa got the things out of her Aunt's house. And there off.

We filled up and got the price tag of the push to get to dinner on time. 8.2 MPG. Ouch! We saunter up to Greensboro to visit my cousin Wendy. Maggie took us for a detour off the highway. With the rain we just had, the road was slick. We almost couldn't stop for a light. Some truck did not know what doom they just were spared from.

We had dinner at a deli with Wendy and family, chatted for about 2 hours. Once we had drove the staff crazy we took off.

Wanting to know why we almost had a new red hood ornament, I checked things out. No brakes on the trailer. It seems the Schmidtmobile is a little anemic on the alternator. It can't keep the trailer battery charged while running the fridge.

I set the cruise to 5 mph under so I won't have to use much brakes and drive into the night. We stop at a Flying J for a cat nap.
