With the sounds of big rigs pulling past, a lot of big rigs, we attempted to get some sleep. This was a heavily used rest stop.

Woke up about 6 and took off.

We'll get breakfast. Hooray!

Yes there card reader was down. The only reason we picked the place was for the fuel discount points. Spend money at the restaurant and get up to 30 cents a gallon off. We are now at a 10 cent discount for next month.

The manager got off the phone just as we ordered. We got to be the person to test to see if they fixed it. Cha-ching it worked.

We got Dallas at about noon. We were supposed to visit Alisa's roommate through most of college. We forgot her phone number DOH!

We pulled in to the Texan RV Ranch. Nice place, would stay again next time we are in the area.

We set up and while the kids got ready to swim, I went to change the black water valve. I learned something in Boy Scouts, Be Prepared! So I bought a small tool kit, and a adjustable wrench. The first 2 bolts were easy. A ratchet, a ratchet, my kingdom for a ratchet. Wow was it tight on the top 2 bolts.

I got the new valve in. That should be confusing. The grey water valve is black. The black water valve is grey. Took a shower, did the laundry, ate dinner and off to Carrie's.

We had a great time a Carrie's house. Her girls asked if our girls could spend the night. We didn't need to say no. We left at 12:30 so technically they did.
