I must apologize, my spell check fell asleep while I was typing the last message. Night night Alisa. 8-)

-------------------

Woke up at 6 with Georgia on my mind. That's right we did make it to Georgia last night. Walked into Flying J splashed water on my face. Bought some breakfast. Yummy, a corn dog heated under a lamp for breakfast.

Headed to the High Falls State Park just south of Atlanta. Beautiful place, the web site said it has a pool, mini-golf, a large creek to play in, and lots of woods. Cool!

On the way there stopped by an Auto Zone to see why the check engine light decided to show itself on the Schmidtmoble. ( Any one know where we can get good money for this van on trade? ) The code said vacuum leak, mass air flow sensor, or the map sensor ( no clue what that is. )

We called Steve and said come on over. We found the creek to be way muddy, and were warned of water moccasins. There was poison ivy all around in the woods. The pool costs 5 bucks per person and was closed because the life guards were still in school. Couldn't find the mini-golf. Well at least it was cheap and had showers. ( Very little hot water in the woman's showers )

One of the Schmidt's favorite cartoons is The Tick. He is a nigh-invincible guy with the IQ of a piece of toast. Little did we know how many of his cousins we would meet this day. While Alisa and the girls were walking in the woods one tapped Trudy on the shoulder. Of course being a girl living in the 5th largest city in this great country, she freaked out. She flicked it off her and on to Gretchen's nose. Now they were both screaming! By the time Trudy ran out of the woods her pants were covered. Gosh I love this campground. I think this was the place Allen Sherman was thinking about when he wrote Camp Grenada.

We did see a deer in the campground, about 50 yards from our campsite. First one in the wild my kids had seen.

Would't you know it the first day I am offically on PTO, I get a call from work :-( Guess they miss me.

About 15 miles away there was a lake with a swimming area. So the kids got to swim there. Met a GM Master Mechanic who told us the reason our check engine light came on yesterday. He asked, "Oh, when you are on a long climb with the Astro do you ever loose the power breaks? The have a vacuum issue in large climbs." Oh that makes sense.

Our visit with Steve was fun. We broke our can opener trying to make beans. Thankfully there was a Dollar General right next to the camp entrance. We also finally figured the correct way to put up the canopy. ( The first time was wrong )

Went to sleep about 10.

More to come...
